Days that look different

In time for a routine engagement,
You,
Pay at the front and pick up,
In the corner,
Where the Others,
Seem to have nestled a resting spot,
More so a leaning tavern,
Waiting for a reason to look inviting,
Biting lips to appear like,
An actual prize,
Talk to me,
Whisper with mysterious pupils,
Into these infatuated intentions,
Consciously,
You’re awake,
Thinking of every menacing pose,
To make your presence,
Known to all,
in the coffee shop.
